Account Manager Role


We are a fast growing, recently-funded, AI-driven start up seeking an Account Manager to be based in our office just outside Cambridge and help us expand into new sectors.

 

We’re currently a 15-person team and growing rapidly. The environment is lean & agile, we prioritise fast growth with an exciting environment to match. Job description

The role advertised is for an Account Manager.

Working for us, you’ll become responsible for leading our work with key priority accounts, as well as cultivating valuable client relationships to support our ongoing expansion. You’ll be at the focal point of the innovation we bring to our customers around the world.

Among your specific responsibilities will be:

  • Taking ownership of our interaction with new and established customer accounts to lead, strategise for, and deliver on our business development & engagement efforts.
  • Using and quantitatively refining our strategy for identifying and engaging experts, contributing to our overall company strategy and growth.
  • Managing key customer relationships, prospecting, and the pipeline for your assigned accounts.
  • Collaborating with techspert.io’s technology team to align our tech development with client needs.

 

Personal qualities

  • Strong communication skills. Whether you’re talking to our clients or collaborating within our team, this will be vital.
  • Ability for creative problem-solving. We’re a small, rapidly-expanding company, and things move quickly – we come up against new situations all the time, and you need to be innovative and proactive in how you get us through them.
  • Tenacity and entrepreneurial mindset. In a high-growth startup like techspert.io, you’ll have opportunity after opportunity to grow our business – and your responsibility – through your efforts. We’d like to hire someone who has the drive and vision to take full advantage of every chance they’re given.
  • Desire to work in a startup.

 

Requirements

  • At least a year’s experience in client relationship, stakeholder, or account management.
  • A bachelor’s degree (science-related preferred, but not essential), or equivalent experience that you can argue is relevant to us.

  • Fluency in multiple languages would be a bonus.

Compensation

  • Starting salary of £25,000 – £27,000, dependent on experience.
  • Share options commensurate with experience and delivery on key internal targets.
