Connecting a top 3 global healthcare consultancy with Ultra-rare disease KOLs
The client, one of the top 3 global healthcare consultancies, was undertaking a project to develop a go-to-market strategy for a novel treatment of a rare disease. Their planned entry markets were LATAM, EU, and APAC and their first step was to rapidly familiarise themselves with the private care pathway for treatment of the disease in each of these regions. They wanted firstly qualitative insights, needing 4-6 expert calls in English per geography.
Leveraging our rapid, reliable technology, we indexed and mapped private practice physicians across a range of different specialities that treated the rare disorder. From this pool we ranked the most influential and accomplished experts, as well as those who treated the most patients, and began outreach to onboard these experts. As the disease is classified as “ultra-rare”, the depth of our coverage was essential for filling this quota.
Over 14 days we connected the client to 40 expert calls, hitting their target quota. We also collected and collated screener responses and presented these back as a database for the client to export and analyse.
